The premise

A man carrying a crushing personal secret retreats to a remote, windswept island to work as a shepherd — but solitude proves far from peaceful. As the harsh landscape closes in around him, the boundary between haunting visions and waking reality begins to dissolve. What starts as an escape from grief slowly transforms into something far more sinister, forcing him to confront demons both internal and potentially very real. Shepherd is a slow-burn descent into psychological torment wrapped in bleak, elemental dread.
