A detective goes undercover as a therapy patient to probe a psychotherapist's possible connection to a baffling double homicide — but the deeper the sessions go, the harder it becomes to trust his own perception of events. Director Gareth Tunley crafts a quietly unnerving British thriller that weaponises mundanity and ambiguity to destabilising effect. With a committed performance from Tom Meeten at its centre, the film draws viewers into a labyrinth of doubt where the investigator and the investigated begin to feel uncomfortably interchangeable.
