A father hoping a camping trip through the Appalachian wilderness will repair his fractured bond with his son gets far more than he bargained for when a local cult awakens something ancient and malevolent. When the boy vanishes into the dark woods, Leon finds himself alone against both fanatical believers and a terrifying entity known as the Hangman. What begins as a personal journey becomes a desperate, bloody fight for survival against forces human and otherwise. This low-budget indie leans hard into backwoods dread and cult menace to deliver its scares.
