The premise

After a divorce, Sophia moves to the south of Italy with her daughter, Helena. Their new home, an apartment within an austere building of the fascist age, is a chance for them to start a new life. But inside an old storage room hides a mysterious closet and a buried secret. After the loss of Helena’s first baby tooth, a chilling obsession begins and an apparition haunts her sleep...

Horror Vault's take

Newly divorced Sophia relocates with her young daughter Helena to a weathered apartment in southern Italy, hoping for a fresh start — but the building's oppressive history refuses to stay buried. When Helena loses her first baby tooth, an eerie fixation takes hold of the girl, and a spectral presence begins invading her nights. Equal parts Gothic atmosphere and maternal nightmare, the film mines the rituals of childhood for something genuinely sinister. The austere architectural backdrop lends the story a cold, creeping dread that lingers well beyond its final frame.
