The premise
After inheriting a house from the family she never knew, Samantha Harris and three friends head to rural Sader Ridge to inspect the property. Soon after arriving, Sam begins to experience horrific visions of savage brutality and unspeakable evil. Plagued by the sinister forces closing in around her, Sam descends into a waking nightmare when the demons from her past refuse to stay buried any longer.

When Samantha inherits a remote rural property from the family she never knew, a weekend trip with friends quickly unravels into something far darker than a simple estate visit. Strange visions begin to invade her waking hours, blurring the line between memory, madness, and genuine menace. The isolated setting of Sader Ridge amplifies every creak and shadow as Sam struggles to distinguish her own fractured past from the terrors closing in around her. Low-budget and lean, The Invoking builds its dread through atmosphere and character unease rather than spectacle.
