The premise
A horror movie/buddy comedy about Joey and his undead friend Bart who comes back from the dead as a revenant: an articulate zombie that needs to drink blood to arrest the decomposition of his body.

When soldier Bart rises from the grave with a serious blood-drinking habit, he enlists his wisecracking best friend Joey to help him navigate the bizarre logistics of being neither fully alive nor fully dead. Together the unlikely duo stumbles into a chaotic mix of nocturnal schemes, gangsters, and cops as Bart tries to keep his decaying body in one piece. Equal parts gross-out horror and sharp buddy comedy, The Revenant puts a fresh spin on undead mythology by blending zombie and vampire tropes into something delightfully unclassifiable.
