The premise
Sloane and four classmates take cover in Cortege High to escape a world plagued by the infected. As danger relentlessly pounds on the doors, Sloane begins to see the world through the eyes of those who actually want to live and takes matters into her own hands.

When a zombie apocalypse tears the world apart, high schooler Sloane and a handful of classmates barricade themselves inside Cortege High — but the infected outside may not be their only threat. Trapped together with nowhere to run, the group's fragile bonds are tested as supplies dwindle and panic sets in. Sloane carries a private darkness that forces her to confront what survival even means to her, and the answer may surprise everyone — including herself. Based on a source novel, this intimate siege story puts raw human emotion at the center of the undead chaos.
