Picking up right where the original left off, Waxwork II: Lost in Time hurls its survivors through a wild series of genre dimensions — from gothic horror to sci-fi madness — as they race to outrun the supernatural evil that has latched onto their world. Each stop on their time-bending journey plunges them into a fresh nightmare drawn from classic horror and pulp fantasy. The film gleefully wears its low-budget ambition on its sleeve, serving up an affectionate, anarchic romp through monster-movie history. It's part sequel, part horror variety show, and entirely unhinged.
