In an alternate America where witchcraft is criminalized, a teenage girl is forced to confront her own beliefs when she becomes entangled in the dangerous underground effort to smuggle persecuted witches across the border to safety. As the stakes escalate and law enforcement closes in, the sheltered protagonist finds that the line between ally and accomplice is razor-thin.
