The premise
Six young adults in the woods run afoul of a berserker, a viking warrior who dons the fur and snout of a bear, and are slain in turn by him.
Horror Vault's take
Deep in the remote wilderness, a group of friends on a camping trip find themselves hunted by something far more terrifying than the local wildlife. Rooted in Norse mythology, the threat they face is ancient, relentless, and wearing the skin of a beast. As the body count rises and escape seems impossible, the line between legend and horrifying reality collapses around them. This late-80s slasher trades the usual masked killer for something with genuine folkloric menace.
