The premise

Part crime caper gone awry, part survival horror film, this 1970s set thriller depicts a harrowing fight for survival after a pair of wannabe crooks botch a bank heist and flee into the desert, where they inexplicably stumble upon Carnage Park, a remote stretch of wilderness occupied by a psychotic ex-military sniper.

Set against the bleached backdrop of the 1970s American desert, Carnage Park opens with a botched bank robbery that sends its desperate participants careening into a far worse nightmare. What begins as a crime thriller pivots into punishing survival horror when the fleeing criminals stumble onto a vast, desolate stretch of land that belongs to a dangerously unhinged ex-military sniper. The wilderness itself becomes a hunting ground, and escape feels impossibly far away. Ashley Bell anchors the film as a woman forced to fight for her life against an adversary who knows every inch of his lethal domain.
