The premise
Simon Leach is a very, very sick man. Thriving on despair, pain, and panic, he unites a group of broken and desperate people in the middle of the desert. He showers them with the love and affection they’re so desperate for, but Simon has a much greater plan for his followers.

Deep in a remote desert, a charismatic and deeply disturbed man named Simon Leach gathers a community of vulnerable, broken souls, offering them the love and belonging they've always craved. Captured through found footage, the film places viewers uncomfortably close to the inner workings of a cult as Simon's true intentions slowly surface. What begins as a portrait of devotion curdles into something far darker, exploring just how far manipulation can reach when people are at their most desperate. Bill Oberst Jr. delivers a magnetic and chilling performance that anchors the film's escalating sense of dread.
