Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest1995
“In the heart of a city, an adult nightmare is about to be reborn...”
Directed by James D.R. Hickox
The premise
After a couple adopts a pair of orphaned brothers, it becomes alarmingly clear the boys are much more than they seem.
Horror Vault's take
When a Chicago couple brings home two orphaned brothers from the heartland, they expect a fresh start — what they get is something far darker rooted in corn, cult, and ancient malevolence. The younger of the two boys harbors a terrifying devotion to a force that doesn't stay confined to rural fields, and the city itself may not be ready for what he's brought with him. This third entry in the long-running franchise transplants He Who Walks Behind the Rows into an urban setting, raising the stakes with telekinetic dread and escalating carnage.
