The premise
Tim and Allie seek shelter in a remote desert compound after becoming lost and stranded. A strange Manson-like character, Preacher, reluctantly allows them inside with strict orders to be gone by morning and not wander "where you are not invited."

Stranded in the desert, a couple stumbles upon a remote compound ruled by a menacing, Manson-esque preacher who grants them uneasy refuge — with one strict condition: don't go where you're not welcome. As night closes in, the strange rules of this isolated place begin to reveal something deeply wrong lurking just out of sight. This ninth entry in the long-running franchise trades cornfields for sun-baked desolation, leaning into paranoia and dread over outright carnage. The compound's secrets press in from all sides, turning a simple request for shelter into a waking nightmare.
