Two teenagers who get their kicks from cruel prank calls find the tables violently turned when a calculated stranger hijacks their night and refuses to let them off the line. What begins as a seemingly ordinary evening at home spirals into a nerve-shredding game of cat and mouse played entirely over the phone. The anonymous tormentor proves disturbingly well-prepared, forcing the boys to confront the consequences of their own reckless behavior. Claustrophobic and relentlessly tense, the film squeezes genuine dread out of technology most of us take for granted.
