The premise
Complete strangers stranded at a remote desert motel during a raging storm soon find themselves the target of a deranged murderer. As their numbers thin out, the travelers begin to turn on each other, as each tries to figure out who the killer is.

When a violent desert rainstorm strands a group of strangers at a rundown Nevada motel, the night takes a deadly turn as guests begin turning up dead. Suspicion spreads fast among the unlikely assemblage — an ex-cop, a limousine driver, a newlywed couple, and others — as each scrambles to unmask the killer before becoming the next victim. Running in parallel, a convicted criminal's last-minute legal case unfolds with its own unsettling revelations. Identity weaves its two narrative threads into something far stranger and more provocative than a straightforward whodunit.
