The premise
Five young individuals agree to live in an isolated lodge together and have their daily activities filmed. But soon the house is locked down and they each run into the murderous clutches of a faceless serial killer who may not be working alone.
Horror Vault's take
When five strangers agree to have their lives documented on camera inside a remote lodge, what begins as an unconventional social experiment quickly turns into a desperate fight for survival. The doors seal shut, escape becomes impossible, and a disfigured killer begins picking them off one by one. Kolobos leans into late-90s slasher energy while threading in a disorienting psychological undercurrent that keeps viewers questioning what is real. Cult horror fans will recognize Linnea Quigley among the cast, adding a layer of genre nostalgia to this grimy, claustrophobic nightmare.
