The premise
When a mute makeup/special effects artist working on a low-budget slasher film gets locked in a dilapidated Moscow movie studio late one night, she thinks she witnesses the making of a snuff film. Thus begins a night of terror.

A mute special-effects artist accidentally stumbles onto something far more sinister than a late-night film shoot when she becomes stranded alone in a crumbling Moscow studio. What she witnesses sets off a desperate, pulse-pounding game of cat and mouse through labyrinthine corridors with no way to call for help. Set against the grimy backdrop of post-Soviet Russia, the film wrings every drop of tension from its heroine's terrifying disadvantage. Equal parts thriller and horror, it's a relentless exercise in sustained dread.
