The premise

A decade after a disturbing childhood incident leaves a young man institutionalized, he escapes and returns to his old neighborhood with deadly intentions toward those who wronged him. His rampage carries an eerie undercurrent of twisted devotion, as one girl from his past finds herself at the dark center of his obsession. Low-budget and regional in flavor, Offerings leans into slasher conventions while delivering an atmosphere of creeping dread. Fans of late-80s independent horror will find its rough edges part of the grim charm.
