When a volunteer manning a remote helpline picks up a call that seems routine, it quickly becomes clear that something far more sinister is on the other end of the line. A cunning killer known as 'The Gentleman' has a chilling method for drawing victims out of the safety of their own homes — and this volunteer may be his next mark. What follows is a taut game of nerves as the threat closes in from the outside world. Low-budget and lean, the film leans hard into psychological dread over spectacle.
