The premise
Two millennials make quick money by leasing incredible New York City apartments they don’t own to people who don’t know they are being scammed. The con works brilliantly until they run into an apartment owner with a dark secret who flips the game on them.

Two opportunistic millennials are riding high on a slick New York City rental scam — pocketing cash from unsuspecting victims by leasing apartments they don't own. The hustle seems foolproof until they target the wrong landlord, a man whose secrets run far darker than any con they could have dreamed up. What begins as a game of financial deception rapidly twists into something far more dangerous, forcing the duo to fight for much more than their payday.
