The premise
A young married couple becomes stranded at an isolated motel and find hidden video cameras in their room. They realize that unless they escape, they'll be the next victims of a snuff film.

When a road breakdown forces a couple into a rundown motel in the middle of nowhere, a collection of disturbing videotapes in their room suggests the accommodations come with a deadly catch. With nowhere to run and no way to call for help, the two must rely on each other to outwit whoever is watching. Director Nimród Antal wrings every drop of tension from the film's lean premise, delivering a stripped-back thriller that rarely lets up. Kate Beckinsale and Luke Wilson anchor the suspense with grounded, believable performances as a couple forced together by desperation.
