Horror Vault's take

Directed by shock-rock icon Glenn Danzig and drawn from his own adult horror comic series, Verotika is an anthology that plunges viewers into a series of grotesque vignettes where sexuality and savagery are inseparable. Each tale conjures a different flavour of depravity — vampiric hunger, murderous obsession, and dark occult forces — rendered with a lurid, pulp-magazine aesthetic. It is a film unapologetically indebted to the grindhouse and European exploitation traditions, making no concessions to mainstream sensibility.
