The premise
On a winter’s night, Romeo, a wide-eyed orphan, digs up his father’s corpse, drags it home, and wakes him up from the dead. Like a newborn, the father slowly rediscovers his senses, while Romeo does his best to take care of him. Though they no longer belong to the same world, both men share a fragility that cannot be concealed.
Horror Vault's take
When a lonely orphan boy exhumes his father and somehow coaxes life back into him, an unlikely and deeply strange reunion begins to unfold against a bleak winter backdrop. The resurrected man must relearn the world from scratch, his senses returning piece by piece like a man reborn, while the boy devotes himself entirely to his care. Together they inhabit an uneasy space between the living and the dead, held together by a bond that defies nature. This quiet, unsettling fable blurs the line between horror and heartbreak in equal measure.
