The premise
A group of urbex enthusiasts travel to the backwoods of Appalachia to capture footage of abandoned houses, when they unwittingly become the subjects of a much darker video - made by a different kind of "enthusiast".
Horror Vault's take
A crew of urban explorers ventures deep into Appalachian backwoods, cameras rolling, in search of abandoned buildings and forgotten places. What begins as an amateur documentary excursion takes a sinister turn when the group realizes they are no longer the ones doing the watching. The remote wilderness becomes a trap, and the footage they set out to make may not be the only record of what happens next.
