Five doctors set out for a remote wilderness retreat in Northern Ontario, only to find their idyllic escape turning sinister when their boots vanish overnight. Stranded deep in the Canadian bush, the group quickly realises they are not alone — and that someone, or something, is methodically hunting them. Director Peter Carter's lean, stripped-back thriller draws dread from the landscape itself, letting the vast, indifferent forest become as threatening as any masked killer. Hal Holbrook anchors the film with a grounded, quietly harrowing performance as the group's fraying resolve is tested at every turn.
