The premise
Several couples head upstate to the country to watch a boat being built. Unfortunately they are stalked by a murderer behind a ghoulish mask.
Horror Vault's take
A group of couples escapes to the rural countryside to oversee the construction of a boat, trading city life for what should be a relaxing retreat. Their getaway turns deadly when a figure concealed behind a grotesque mask begins hunting them one by one. Equal parts character drama and slasher, the film takes its time building unease before the violence escalates. Late-70s genre fans will recognize the familiar formula delivered with a grindhouse edge.
