The premise
After meeting online, Jack and Kristy go on a weekend getaway to the woodlands of rural Missouri. While discovering each other, they soon learn of the terrorizing horrors that the forest has in store.

Two people who connected online head into the Missouri wilderness for a romantic weekend retreat, only to find that the secluded woods harbor something far more sinister than awkward first-date jitters. What begins as a chance to build a real connection quickly unravels into a brutal fight for survival. The rural setting is used to full effect, stripping away any sense of safety or escape as the terror closes in.
