The premise
A family's vacation to a remote getaway takes an unexpected turn when they discover the present-day implications of the island's cannibalistic past.

When a bickering family jets off to a secluded Finnish island for some much-needed rest, they quickly find that the locals have a rather extreme approach to hospitality. What begins as a farcical holiday romp takes a sharp left turn into genuine menace as the island's grisly past proves very much alive in the present. Nick Frost and Aisling Bea lead the chaos as a couple wildly unprepared for what their dream getaway has in store. Equal parts laugh-out-loud and stomach-turning, it's a horror-comedy that earns both halves of that label.
